For the Flemish Land Agency, a resilient open space full of life and a dynamic countryside are the answer to challenges such as urbanization, climate change and the decline of biodiversity. We strengthen open space and the countryside by investing in soil and water quality, biodiversity, space for food and social cohesion. We provide a quality landscape and a healthy environment, where it is good to live and work and where there is room for relaxation. Together with local and supra-local stakeholders, we shape open space policy, rural policy and manure policy and implement it in the field. In this way, together with our partners, we contribute to the realization of the European and Flemish nature, rural and environmental goals.
